art may be unexpected...
I was surprised by this sweet sculpture when hiking a trail in north Georgia a few weeks ago. Either everyone contributed by making their own little zen stack contribution as they passed or someone stayed for quite a while to create this. Mysterious as it is, it makes me happy!
This isn't a sculpture done by one person, or a Zen practice... it is actually very common when hiking... it is a way to say I Was Here! Apparently a lot of people have hiked this trail. Next time you see one when hiking, find a stone and gently add on to the beautiful creation that man has created... uniting yourself with the band of hikers who have also traveled on your course!
